It's depressing to see how many Americans are so bloodthirsty. Probably because we haven't had a war on our soil in 200 years, and then it was another English-speaking country. (So much for the bumper-sticker, "If your child speaks English thank a Marine!" or somesuch.)

One good invasion of the US would cure folks of liking war. And would get rid of the idea that your hunting rifle will protect your family from anything. Ol' Betsy won't handle napalm very well. Or an RPG, or any assault rifle. Or a 125 mm smoothbore cannon as found on a Russian main battle tank. Actually, your 30 caliber will not even piss 'em off. (I know, you're tough, mean and even ferocious in your defense of flag, family and farm. And I know the gunner in that tank is a weak, cowardly, sniveling Son -of-a-Bitch, afraid to come out an fight like a MAN. And I know that Ol' Betsy has never let you down, can drop a deer at 400 yards, try that with any other deer rifle! But that other cannon can drop an elk at 2 miles, and the elk could be wearing 2 inches of armor.)
