Did you ever stop to think Trump was posturing? I saw him criticizing a reporter for asking him what his tactics would be for renegotiating the Iran deal. He look at him with disgust and said something to the effect that you never show your hand when orchestrating a deal. Today, the US pretty much telegraphs everything we do.
I'm sorry you feel that conservative are blood-thirsty. I believe you're wrong. When we, and others in the world are under attack, a natural response is to retaliate in an effort to stop them. And I'm sorry but revenge is part of it. I think those feelings go beyond party lines. Do you think we should wait until levels of attacks reach some unacceptable level? Maybe never?
By the way I've never heard the term "nuclear triad" but evidently you have. Trick question? Maybe, maybe not.
With the number of times Trump has shot himself in the foot I think you have nothing to worry about. In fact, I think Hillary will be our next president.
