Two things just about completed the picture for me today.

The first was the speech given by McCain today where nearly the first thing out of his mouth was the words “God gave us liberty…”. Someone should shove a copy of the constitution under his noise and point to the first three words – “We the people…” Not “I God…” Why is that so hard to understand? We the people of the United States gave liberty to our fellow citizens – It did not come from God!

The second was from our otherwise level headed cousins’ in the UK. There the Archbishop of Canterbury said that Islamic law in Britain would be a good idea? Great idea, add Sharia to the body of law that made western civilization possible.

Here’s an even better idea. “We The People” should rise up and pitch these two chuckleheads the hell out of power.
