Re: Who wants to live forever?
I absolutely love every pain free moment of life, and I am going to assume that a fringe benefit of immortality is a healthy pain free vessel. Sure, there are bad experiences to deal with but think of it, the death of loved ones would no longer be a problem.
Immortality would surely change most relationships. Some might choose to spend "eternity" with their mate but most would not. Young and healthy, I might come to Texas and woo you. :)
As Tom pointed out we have all experienced oblivion. Having experienced both life and oblivion, I prefer life. Nevertheless, I am not a whiner, if oblivion is unavoidable, you will hear no complaints from me.
