Really? I can hear

a helecopter coming for miles. Especially at night. So would this guy's neighbors, even if there were a few miles away. You don't know how far away the closest neighbor is. Nor do I. That's what a journalist is supposed to tell us. Did the reporter even bother to talk to the neighbors? That's called investigation.

If I was a reporter, and someone claimed they'd been called by The Authorities, I'd get their phone records (with their approval). It's called investigation. I'd go all CSI and look for tire tracks, foot prints, etc. I'd wait out there at night and get pictures / video of the helecopters. Or have they stopped now?

The guy wants to be left alone? Really? How come he's the only one the reporter seems to interview?

The reporter has one source of information and is unwilling to verify the story by simple investigation.

One data source, unconfirmed.

The pictures were cool, saw 'em a couple of days ago, but they are worthless. No scale, no context...which is too bad, 'cause otherwise I might be able to compare them with atmospheric refraction effects. (notice the prismatic effect of the changing color?) Couldn't that be a distant light reflecting off an inversion ????

Prove me wrong.
