re: update
I'm cutting my manuscript a bit at the recommendation of the only agent who's seen the whole thing so far. Unfortunately, I doubt I'm going to be able to cut the 70,000-80,000 words she recommends, but I'm sure I can do at least 20,000. When I've refined this draft, I'll poke her again and see where it goes.
I have seen a lot of improvement from the cuts.
I'm also looking at doing a non-fiction book about my private space company experiences.
