An interesting story from a German pilot.
Him and his wingman were in Me 262s. They were attacking a formation of B-17s when he openned up on a lone bomber with his 4 30mm cannons. He must have hit a bomb because the entire bomber exploded in a massive fireball. His wingman wasn't fast enough to get out of the way and flew right into the inferno. Neither he nor his plane were seen again.
