Sh*t!
A pilot reported that the meteorite/meteor crashed west of Spokane, east of Seattle
Do you know that the coordinates given for the crash site are not far
from the Hanford Plutonium production facilities?
There are MILLIONS of barrels worth of liquid radioactive waste stored at Hanford
in underground tanks.
What if?...What if that damn meteorite [hypothetically] had been as large as an warehouse?
and had [hypothetically] slammed into the Hanford facilities today?
Then?...
Then Spokane would have ended up as a radioactive ghost city, and I wouldn't
feel safe up here in Calgary, 600 miles NE.
In fact if you live as far east as Chicago, you wouldn't feel safe either.
Pleasant dreams.

[EXPLETIVE!] This should scare the hell out of everyone here in this part of North America.
