... between all the clouds, I saw the shadow's beginning until it got the middle of the moon, then clouds and then saw a gorgeous red-orange totality!!! Yes, I even saw hints of blue and purple. It took patience and I have a sore neck, but it was worth it. Clouds thickly rolled back in for the end, which was barely visible at times... moon looked like it was wearing a giant pearl ring at the end. Not too bad! :)
I just caught some of the news and even though it was cloudy here and it rained south of us, people, families with kids went and lined up at our local planetariums to use their telescopes.
To see this take place is an amazing experience.
