Wouldn't hurt to bury Lunar habitation modules under 1-3 meters of dirt.

With a couple of exceptions to the bury and protect
rule on the Moon for modules.
The sole exception for pressurized modules being?
The inflatable or geodesic-dome greenhouse on the
Moon which will need sunlight for the plants and crops inside;
supplimented by artificial light for 2 weeks per orbit.

If a meteorite the size of a marble hits it, it will only
temporarily deny the lunarbase crew fresh vegetables, legumes
and fruit.
The structure itself could be easily fixed or replaced.
A lunar greenhouse worker would be wise to wear his/her pressure suit
inside at all times.
