If you failed to see the Lunar eclipse this Wednesday....Sorry.

But you can still see the Pleiades, Sirius, Orion, tonight, etc
They were as spectacular during the eclipse as the moon itself.

How many of you noted that during the Lunar eclipse, the Moon
appeared genuinely 3-dimensional?...It even exhibited depth
in the darkened sky; it actually appeared to hang there
like a Christmas ornament....
The coppery tone sure helped.

The Moon normally looks "flat" against the sky with the naked eye, but not during
the Lunar eclipse.

Now...I await a genuine Solar eclipse.
Forget Russia, try the Easter Islands in 2010.
