Was introduced to the public by John Lear (Lear aviation) about 20 years ago. They used to hang out together and drive out to Area 51 where they observed some ufos' and experienced some heavy handed treatment by the local commandos who protected the property.

Lear claims to have some Element 115 in his house (or was it 116?) that Lazar gave him.
Interesting, since no one's come to take it back. Lazar went through a smear campaign but he has documents to prove he worked for Teller and his records have since been erased.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd take it with a large grain of salt. Like any "insider", be careful of the disinformation, the limelighting and the grandstanding. John Lear himself is a real character.
