Excellent article! Thanks!
"According to Zenn, traveling 500 miles in an EEStor-powered midsized vehicle would gobble only $12 in electricity vs. $85 in gas for a combustion-engine at current U.S. gas prices." I sure hope they are only slightly exaggerating. If we can cut the dependence on oil in half, the world will be that much better off!
Fuel cells... "In January, Angstrom released a prototype for Motorola's (nyse: MOT - news - people ) SLVR phone, with double the talk time of the lithium ion battery currently being sold with the phone. The phone also recharges in only 10 minutes, vs. several hours for lithium ion batteries." WOW !!! I really think fuel cells are the future! (and no, not the kind that require gasoline; the kind that can be recharged by hybrids and wind, solar, and ocean current power)
