Well, personally it's neither Arrell nor Yeti who have driven me away from taking part in some of these discussions.

I harbor a real and longstanding interest in some of the topics you bring up here, especially ufos. But what I've learned over the years has led me to beleive that the fanciful explanations are simply, and completely, unsupportable. So that's kinda where I come from on that topic.

Very often, when I offered something that was at odds with your conclusions, you'd respond by telling me that the only thing that was kept me from agreeing with you was my ignorance. That gets tired.

I felt like you weren't really interested in a real discussion, so why would I continue to bother trying?
