re: Digital TV Over Air transmissions..???????
I recently purchased a laptop and added a $90 tv tuner. Came with a rabbit ear.
The damn thing found 8 regular channels and 8 HD channels while I sat in the back of my van in the driveway. When I have tried it elsewhere it finds a lot of channels, about half HD and some of those with independent programming.
All with a magnetic roof-mount antenna which is a rabbit ear, one, which telescopes to about 16".
It gets more channels than my basic cable.
Amazing.
