"The president doesn't have much power?" Give me a break! Yeah, Bush does not deserve the power he has, but one cannot deny that the title of president carries a great amount of inherent (and explicit) power as head of state. In countries that also have a prime minister, as you mentioned, the duties and powers of each position very as per the individual national constitution. But to claim that the position of president has no real power as head of state, is ludicrous.
