How many sqft of solar panels are needed to run a window-sized air conditioner?
I'm just wondering if we are near the point where the gypsies driving those huge campers down I-80 can park and unfold solar cells at their campsites instead of running APUs all day long. As an added bonus, the solar panels themselves could provide shade.
They probably would still need to run a APU at night unless batteries could store that much energy.
