Earth Liberation Front (ELF) torches "Street of Dreams".
1) Builders were trying to build "green".
2) Remains of the houses will be demolished and trucked off to a landfill.
3) Burning the contents of furnished homes doesn't help the air quality.
4) All the natural resources and energy expended in building the houses will be required again in rebuilding them.
