"Sunni anger at Iraq trial failure" - indicator of state of reconcilliation process.
Apparently even the occupying forces agree that this is an indication the Shia majority still OKs the killing of the Sunni minority. Bodes ill for reconcilliation, that for which the "surge" was suppose to buy time.
"One of the main Sunni Arab parties in Iraq has criticised the collapse of a trial of two former senior officials accused of aiding Shia death squads. The Iraqi Islamic Party said the government had failed in its duty to protect potential witnesses."
