We can't get anything from the wind here in Cape Cod MA even though it has been surveyed as THE optimum site for wind power generation because the 'beautiful people' faux environmentalists simply won't allow it. Why it would intrude on Ted Kennedy's favorite sailing grounds. Despite the fact that small countries like Denmark have experience with extensive close to shore wind farms that have not ravaged the environment, every month the entitled folk of Cape Cod come up with some phoney environmental reason not to approve the wind farm, now delayed the better part of a decade. Meanwhile, New England imports more oil and natural gas to generate electricity.

I applaud the technology, but the will to proceed with wind as with new more efficient nuclear plants is lacking.
