Muggers puts gun to head. Mugger wants to "negotiate" with you. Oh, what to do?
Do you think any court in America, except the secret courts, would say that a contract signed under those circumstances would be valid? That you could sign away your house, your bank account, the oil from the well in your back yard AND let the mugger and his family live in your house indefinitely and have that be regarded as an enforceable contract anywhere in the world?
I'm curious. Because the US does have a gun to Iraq's head, does want the oil in the back yard and does want to live in Iraq indefinitely, none of which would be granted without the gun to the head.
Valid contract?
