I was a little disappointed in the way the article was written, though. An example:

Yeah, I know...I'm no doctor. But is that statement accurate? The person isn't altering the amount of insulin they need, they're altering the amount they administer. Pretty important difference.

As a diabetic, I'm honestly shocked that anyone would consider doing this deliberately. The consequences of uncontrolled diabetes are horrifying.
