However, the government will legalize it, not to stop crimes but to profit. The US government and the people under it are dedicated to profit no matter the expense.
Alcohol, gambling, and drugs are used to fund the government no matter the true cost to the population.
I grew up taught that promoting the welfare of the citizenry was the purpose of government. And I have grown to know that government is dedicated to promoting the welfare of the wealthy at the expense of everyone else.
Hence, legalized and taxed drugs. Watch the profits being used to fund wars. And an addled population not caring.
