Why should it surprise me? Here, I get to see firsthand and close up how fickle leftists are. Hillary is the savior from Bush and then suddenly she is the antichrist and Obama is the new savior.

But why? Here is where one has to look closely at the fragile psyche that embraces leftist ideals in all their forms.

The new left is not content with anyone who is not blatantly anti-American, who wants to tear down the businesses that make money, to do away with anyone richer than themselves - or to be painfully blunt anyone who does not pander to the leftists disease of nihilism and submerged desire for self-immolation.

Drug use, unsafe sex, binge drinking, chain smoking, gluttony - the leftist, and a few righties too, are constantly trying to fulfill their desire to end his/her miserable existence. That's why they love Dr. Kevorkian and euthanasia. Some leftists here post and cheer one someone has self terminated! That ought to help illustrate how strong this desire to end their existence is. Other leftists encourage soldiers to remove body armor and carry no weapons in a perverse desire to make it easier for these Americans to get killed.

Only when someone points it out to them what it is they truly wish do, as I am doing now, will some have their epiphany and stop tearing down their bodies, government and the healthy social fabric that has kept them and their fellow Americans alive.

The new left are composed of shrieking, unhappy nihilists.

Yes, that's what it's come down to these days. The idea that Obama will guide them all off the cliff together and they can all fly away from their own failure as human beings.

Hillary didn't deliver before. They want someone who can pull the plug on the America they are unhappy with. They want someone who damns America - not blesses it - just like they do. The media caters to their fascination with death, reporting faithfully on who has died and who is near death. They want updates on other's suffering so they can feel a perverse comfort.

They want a political Dr. Kevorkian and Obama is their best hope.

Sorry you had to be on the receiving end of this rant ET. I don't count you among the nihilists. But the opportunity (and motivation) to explain it arrived after your post.
