If she was paid pain and suffering then Walmart couldn't touch that money...As it was she got paid for medical damages...That money belongs to Walmart's insurance company (unless walmart is self insured in which case the money belongs to Walmart)

They paid for her medical bills, they should be reimbursed if the settlement included a payment for medical bills.

The CRIMINAL here is the lawyer who got her such a crappy settlement and who proceeded to take more than half of her judgement. What an advocate for his client!

He probably charged for the services rendered against Walmart and for the case against the trucking company...Thus he got more than half the poor family's money.

the trucking company would probably have settled out of court if he was a good attorney. Walmart would have probably settled out of court too... But that dumbshit took both cases to trial. And spent a crapload of time and money...Now he wants justice for his client...CLASSIC.

Also, She must have been an uninsured driver, or else her auto insurance company would have sued on her behalf (at least for the first 100,000 or so of the medical that they would have covered.) I'm suprised walmart didn't join the suit as they clearly had a loss that resulted from the accident. let me guess...The genius attorney for the woman persuaded them not to?

Also, why does the family punish her by telling her that her son is dead... What a bunch of cruel bastards they must be.
