I don't understand most of the concern regarding two Democrats fighting it out for the nomination. That is what it is supposed to be, and the better politician is supposed to win. And probably will.
The Republicans had a much more genteel, meaningless process, and they wound up with Huckabee and McCain as the finalists who could best tip-toe through the neocon, radical fundamental Christian minefields. The fact that McCain made it is demonstration enough of his unsuitability for national office. The guy and his family have fought hard and well America, sacrificed personally and they have been well rewarded for it. McCain is one of the richer men in that rich men's club, the Senate. For folks who have mostly served in the military, that's right proud.
I'm an advocate for Obama and Hillary having at each other and the Rs. It's good practice for the ROW. I'll vote for either, as many times as I can, though I'll probably be happier to give Obama money.
