Now don't get me wrong, they were the ULTIMATE GM POS CAR, but in mid-70's when the aluminum motors siezed up, the garage I worked at got these cars for scrap value(25 bucks) and we would yank the motor, install a small block 350 with a turbohydro or 4 speed and wail away ! Car was a rocket! Later when the v-6's and reliable 4's came on scene, we would swap them in. Had a few nice GT Wagons that would blow the doors offa mustangs and camaros. Other choices are any Chevelle SS, el CAMINO's and GULP.......CORVAIRS!!!!!
