Let me get this right. It's an improvement to cut the length of tour of a soldier 3 months but the stop-loss program which shows no signs of abating brings them right back when their shortened tour is up.

Interesting math in our future:

15 month tour X 3 tours = 45 months.
12 month tour X 4 tours (when they run out of soldiers) = 48 months.

Great. I'll sleep better now.
