A view from inside Eagle when Neil said his quote
It's a less publicized view from a camera inside the LM and let's assume the picture and the sound match perfectly.
One small step.
Did Neil pronounce his quote when only his left foot was on the Moon soil or when both feet had left the LM foot?
At 3:15 into the video, does he say "I can" or "I can't see the footprints of my boots...." ????
Contrary to what I thought earlier, the LM bottom not being on the floor and the Sun being very low, if his first step was sidewise, it could very well have been bathed by sunlight !!
