Is there a Conservative virtual reality out there where all of those things make sense according to the parameters set forth in an alternate universe?
Where logic, reason and reality testing have been altered - if any two of you agree on something it MUST be true? And that's what makes it factual? And anything you agree isn't fact becomes untrue?
Where, for instance, everything Bush says is true by definition and the rest of reality adjusted to make it so?
And where the participants start to confuse that world with the testable world, dragging in an ultra-right-wing blog-ridden concensus test instead of verifiable checks?
For instance. Bush doesn't lie. Bush says the US doesn't torture terrorism suspects. Independent statements from the US government admits the US tortures terrorism suspects, or insurgents, or anyone they feel like.
And yet in that universe, Bush can't lie. So words are re-defined and reality ignored so that particular belief can be maintained, no matter how illogical and intellectually dishonest.
QED. That's what it seems like from out here in the sunshine.
