I have a theory why we live 7 times longer than dogs and cats.
If you accelerate something to 99 percent of the speed of light,
time-dillation effects will result in that 'something' aging seven times
slower than the observer standing still.
Einstein's theory of Relativity,
Now I think that explains why cats keep observing us, and keep staying in one spot
while we are travelling at 99 percent of the speed of light [and we don't realize it].
The result?
10 years appear to pass for us and then the cat dies.
But the cat actually experienced 70 years while we are being constantly shuffled and darting about at 99 percent
of the speed of light and are totally unaware of the fact.
