The very early solar system
There were far far far more rocks orbiting the Sun in the early solar system.
Every time they collide or merge with each other, they increase the size of the rocks (and their attractive power) and decrease the amount of rocks that haven't colllided yet.
We certainly have, and perhaps even in our own body, atoms of rocks coming from other worlds besides our own.
I even wonder if we can have atoms coming from places far older and away from our solar system.
