We breed race horses who die badly and easily, guard dogs that have horrific hip diseases, Scent dogs that have brain defects or potentially terminal sinus disorders...

I shudder to think what humans the eugenicists would breed or design.

Its sad. Few things are as beautiful as a horse in motion. Watching them on the open fields of my youth and sneaking them sugar cubes are potent memories, and to this day horses move me. But the breeding of these race horses has gotten too extreme.
