Plant people
Anybody ask them where they were getting their CO2 from?
"Abuse" of plants has been built into our Great Circle of Life, and most plants are actually designed to deal with it. Flowers are temporary sex organs that die and go to seed when they're done. What real harm if you pick one? Grasses are built to be chewed down to the ground by millions of years of grazing animals and come popping back up again, which is why we can mow them with no problems. Oak trees count on squirrels being attracted to acorns. They eat a bunch of them, but hey, they also bury a few and often forget where they are. What other tree gets an animal to run around and plant new trees?
