If the weather co-operates

Last year I flew in with a pilot friend of mine and met other ICCRA members for breakfast then headed out for the field work. It's exciting to meet the local sherrif, newspaper reporters and townsfolk who spotted it and then start uncovering the "syncronicities" around it. There's always so much more that never gets written up.

And it's always great energy. To me it's like being a sleuth on the trail of the gods.
It can be a let down if it's man made but it's interesting discerning the difference.
And at times, you have to wait weeks (even months) before the plant and soil analysis comes back. It's a harmless hobby. Everyone gets in the great outdoors and swaps stories, and uncovers exciting information.

I actually did a local investigation myself today, but it was randomly downed barley and I think some deer had made beds in it. I wasn't about to stay too long out there by myself.
And, two long-time internationally known crop circle researchers asked to me write for their websites today, and that's pretty cool. (They've been asking for years however).
