What all dictatorships are afraid of
I have a feeling (which later a news story also put forth) that this may be the catalyst that gets them overthrown. As in all dictatorships; they don't care about he people; they care only about their personal power. They don't want outsiders seeing what they've done, haven't done. When light shines into the shadows, the time of darkness comes to an end. That is what they fear.
