2007 Ad revenues in media

This confirms the steady trend towards internet advertising over "conventional" tv, newspaper, radio and cable. What this tells us, is that if you think the web is cluttered with advertising now - just you wait! By 2010 not only will you be forced to wade through full screen commercials to get onto a site, and between pages you will soon be forced to see commercial just to X out of something and navigate away.

The crime here of course is that ads suck up users time and decrease web enjoyment considerably.

Programmers and machines will have to get up to speed to make the ad process less painful than it currently is.
