Fine mesh mosquito netting (1 mm grid): a 1m x 1m square contains a million holes. A meter-high stack of a thousand sheets contains a billion holes. A 10x10x4 stack of these cubes is 400 billion holes, a number equivalent to the number of stars in the Milky Way
