Those attackers were probably right wing thugs trying to discredit the refugees.
After all, if the film crew was there "to show how sad and desperate it was for the refugees", it wouldn't make any sense for the refugees to be hostile to them.
N. Europe is full of unrepentant Nazi sympathizers, especially Sweden (it was "neutral" during the war) and Finland (they actually fought alongside the Germans.)
