The clip speaks for itself, in all versions I have seen. There is no 'context' (in fact, the context is a Hillary Hate Fest!). The woman says it quite clearly- she conflates them and encourages them both being 'knocked off'. The host k nows whats up, he laughs and tells her jokingly to 'tell us how you really feel!'. To try to go to bat for this is an insult to the intelligence of anyone who hears the remarks and takes them for exactly what they appear to be. There is no subtlety here, no gradations of meaning. There is no 'nuance'.

There is a point to my remarks: You have to be playing the 'shill' game to try to excuse or explain this away. You have to try to shout down people with claims (context! theres a context to these remarks!) that are unrealistic and counterfactual to common sense. You have to do it in unison with the other partisans, and you have to do it loudly. Don't you think that the 'Shill' game has caused tremendous damage so far? Has the 'Shill' game brought the consensus view closer to truth in America?

Basically, I'm tired of hearing the 'shill' game played, and I'm even more tired that its out of the mouths of the same old people who played it again and again and again- people who have been ass-backwards wrong... People who for the most part refuse to check their track records and take pause before launching into the next round of loud defense.

And I am really fraking tired of the second verse of the recital of the Shill Choir being how 'tired' or 'same old' or 'obviously wrong' everyone else is. Good god, people- are you so immune to irony?

So, essentially, yeah: Stop insulting my intelligence. Grow some ethical spine. Condemn this sort of crap for the crap it is. Stop trying to tell me this crap is a beautiful flower.
