People who go to college are more likely to be Democrats.

Obviously, there must be a coordinated conspiracy of left-wing intellectuals indoctrinating our kids.

This was first noticed during the 1960s, so the professors who taught the hippies how to be commies
must have been educated in the previous generation, the post-war years. They were working class GIs
returning to college after WWII, financed by the GI Bill. In the 60's, college was cheap and there
were plenty of Vietnam vets collecting GI Bill, too. Not only that, lots of working class kids were going
to college, not to mention lots of minorities. A perfect breeding ground for cranking out Democrats:
working class vets with cheap school and plenty of Pinko profs.

Well, not to worry, me bucko. Its getting expensive to go to college these days, you can't even attend
a State school any more without going into serious debt. Pretty soon, only the sons of the rich will be
able to afford to go to school, and they will be forced to specialize in fields where industry and business
has a real need: business and tech degrees. No more uppity working class kids getting degrees in
liberal arts, behavioral and social sciences, the humanities and other troublesome disciplines. And if we have a shortage
of scientists and engineers, no problem. We can export the jobs, or give special visas to 3rd world techies
who've been trained at public expense in their home countries.

No more Democrats cranked out from the colleges; just good solid upper middle class white boys and girls to join
the necktie battallions. Real YAFs and Young Republicans, real Junior Achievement types. The free market at work.
