I don't think video works for evidence nowadays
I can go to the movies and see almost anything imaginable rendered in absolute realistic detail. The scary part is that this technology works just fine on high-end home computers.
The bar for alien evidence is a lot higher now than it might have been a few decades ago. Something along the lines of physical evidence analyzed at multiple labs, like biological samples.
