You believe that stuff?

C'mon Robert it's me.

You know that EVERY politician is and will be in full time campaign mode since Clinton set the trend and the internet arrived as a PR tool with an hourly news cycle.

Clinton, Obama, McCain and anyone else will govern with a finger to the wind and a collection of pollster reports that could fill the WH blue room from top to bottom.

In an age of entertainment and diminsihed education the appeal is no longer to REASON but rather to FEELING.

"I feel your pain" was the beginning of meaningless rhetoric to comfort people's FEELING while leaving them empty handed. Bush inherited a public conditioned to feeling rather than substance. When patriotic FEELING was high Bush & his poll numbers were through the roof and everyone loved him. When he no longer showed enough empathy and the media repeated that he didn't seem to care what others thought about him suddenly it didn't matter what he did, he no longer communicated the right FEELING to those who need such from their President.

A touchy-feely President that's what some people seem to desire.

Surprise...who is more touchy-feely - H. Clinton or B. Obama?

That's right Obama. Obama is all about feeling. He studied the Bill Clinton play book and has done it one better by using race to try and generate sympathy and empathy. There is not a SHRED of substance or intelligence in ANYTHING Obama has said or proposed but it pushes the FEELING button on all those who want it pushed.

Obama is a "mommy" President in the same way Bill Clinton was. Hillary may be female but folks know she's no mommy figure. She's just like Obama's wife - a ruthless shark - hungrily climbing and never satiated.

No feeling there.

McCain will win if he pushes FEELING. He has to convince folks he cares for them as much or more than Obama. Obama's ideas may ruin the lives of tens of millions, but as long as he smiles and tells the people he cares they will follow him as the pied piper of feeling.

What we are doing in Iraq or around the world to preserve democracy in a world of tyrants means less than nothing to the FEEL folks, driven by entertainment, & always thinking about themselves and their next big FEEL GOOD pleasure.
