Wow. Reagan appeased some terrorists, and sponsored others in Latin America. At least under Clinton the economy grew. And after the WTC '93 bombing Clinton's attack on Iraq dissuaded Saddam from ever trying anything again. (Read the histories of those who were there and charged with working on counter-terrorism. Richard Clarke is one.)
And now it seems to me that McCain is a political product of those years and his campaign is absolutely loaded with lobbyists and other special interest folks, contrary to his claim of "reform". He's being advised, guided and managed by narrow, multi-national corporate interests. "McBush" seems to be an accurate description, and if Bush were a good president he'd be proud to be called that. All that makes it perjorative is that Bush and his policies have been a complete failure. And McCain wants to continue the worst of them.
Hillary's exit strategy of not exiting demonstrates that for her it's all about Hillary, not what's best for the Democratic Party and it's agenda or the country. But we've always known that about Bill and Hillary.
That leaves Barack, the least well-known of the bunch. He may be a schnook, we haven't had as much exposure to him as the others. However, he seems to be the only one who could work with Republicans for an agenda upon which most Americans could sign off. At least with him there is hope. Hillary would have a hard time negotiating anything which would appeal to most Americans. It's time to recover from The Great Unificator, the most devisive president since Lincoln and the most incompetent since the Republic was founded.
Just some thoughts.

A perspective: We've had 28 years of Reagans, Bushes and Clintons.
