You do seem to be asking lots of questions.
Which is always a good sign. ;-)
Seriously though - any intellectual that would contemplate murder can not be that great of an intellectual. All actions have consequences and not just legal ones. The desire to destroy that which stands in opposition to oneself or one feels threatens one's well being or causes frustration is a more primal, animal reaction - not an intellectual one.
Humanity can suppress its animal instincts and fears and moderate them intelligently, finding constructive rather than destructive ways of dealing with the most difficult problems.
