Beauty's in the eye of the beholder
Not that I disagree, it's just that it's like appreciating the beauty of the desert: You have to appreciate stark minimalism.
At first glance it seems like a toy, but then I got to thinking about the typical LAMP Web hosting setup. You get Web-based control panels to do the things that the ISP wants to let you do, but you're locked out of the full repertoire of *nix admin tools...notably the shell. Something like that could be installed in any such environment and open it up like a can opener.
So, the verdict is, cool.
