Could do everything I can do now on an IPhone, and more

Over 5 years ago on a Palm. I even shelled into a server from my Treo and finished up its installation of Linux and deployed Apache from the passengers seat of a moving car.

I'll never forgive Palm for self destructing. If they had not shot themselves in the foot with their OS idiocy, there wouldn't even be a market for the 'ohLookItsAPurddyToy' iPhone. As is, if Palm grinds to a halt before Android gets its legs (if it ever truly matures), I'll be stuck with one of them while I wait for someone to pick up the innovation torch. When the killed the Foleo they probably killed the best way of finally getting a Next Generation mobile OS released. After years of holding on, I now no longer believe that the Nova Os (or whatever their latest Fiasco is) will ever see the light of day. The iPhone takes outdated ideas from 5 years ago and gives them a stunning GUI and great usability. But as far as a tool that can seriously augment, change or improve what I can do now? Worthless.

Teenagers love it, though, especially as the barrel down the road and into the as end of my new car while they struggle with the GUI keyboard to text!
