My God, what a loss! He was a brilliant journalist and someone I trusted implicitly. He always got to the heart of the matter and never let anyone off the hook. No one knows his personal political leanings or how he voted in elections. He never played favorites in interviews. He asked probing questions and was one the best in the business, if not THE best. I respected the man and for him to be gone now that we're facing an historic election... who can analyze events with his insight? He'll be missed, not just by his family and co-workers but by the American public whose interests he served with unswerving dedication.

God comfort his family and his co-workers. Tim was a Catholic of great faith and a man whose first priority was his family. He'll be missed.
