After 6 years of the world's mightiest military powers - "The Taliban's Great Escape"
"A daring prison break shows that Afghanistan's militants are back—and as bold as ever."
Now that was in Kandahar, the second largest city. And this isn't all that significant, but it is a sympton, a sign, of the US and NATO having very, very little control in the country. Again, after 6 years of the mightiest military powers of the entire world.
Tell me again that Afghanistan is a "winnable" situation. The truth is that if Bush could have won it he would have already. It's another loss awaiting the next administration. Unless it is the Supersized Bush, McBush, who will drag it out until someone with some sense comes along, of course.
