Ammonia-Water Eutectic?

Hi Socrates II

Salts can keep things liquid down to ~ 230 K, but we'd see some sign of the dissolved species in the plumes. Sulfuric acid solution can remain liquid down to ~ 210 K, but likewise for what should be seen and hasn't been. If the mix is a eutectic of ammonia-water the melting point drops to just 176 K - but we'd see a lot more ammonia in the plumes. That Science piece you posted from Bruce Jakosky isn't very hopeful for actual liquid water, but who knows?
